Khowutzun Forest Services is equipped with a well trained team of firefighters that utilize a three phased response to fire emergencies - Suppression, Stabilization & Rehabilitation. Our fire suppression crew completed a comprehensive training program that was developed in partnership with Malaspina University-College and Khowutzun Forest Services. The courses provided in the Fire Suppression Training Program are recognized by provincial organizations such as WCB, FISH, and the Ministry of Forests.
